Norwegian Film Wins Golden Bear at Berlinale 2025

The Berlin International Film Festival concluded its nine-day run with the announcement of its winners, according to Center Cinema Press, citing Variety
The festival, which is the first of its kind under the direction of Tricia Tuttle, awarded its Golden Bear to Norway’s “Dreams (The Sex of Love),” directed by Dag Johan Hagrud. The film is the third in a trilogy about a young woman.
Gabriel Mascaro’s “The Blue Route” won the Silver Bear from the Jury, and Radu Jode’s “Continental 25” won the Screenplay award. The director’s award went to Hua Meng for “Life in the Country,” and Lucille Hajihalilovic’s “The Ice Tower” won the Artistic Achievement Award
Rose Byrne won the Silver Bear for Best Actress for “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You,” while Richard Linklater’s “Blue Moon” earned Andrew Scott the Best Supporting Actor award
