The film “Emilia Perez” was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film

According to Center Cinema Press , the ceremony to introduce the best foreign language film in the International Section of the Lifetime Academy of Legends concluded today with the introduction of the winners of various sections
Referring to the seven films nominated in the international section, Sajjad Asghari, the founder and chairman of the jury, said: “This time, we tried to introduce the candidates with a special look, paying special attention to Asian cinema in each section. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of the council and the honorable secretary of the eighth round of the ceremony, Ms. Pouran Derakhshandeh (a prominent director of Iranian cinema), Mr. Sergey Anashgin (cinema critic and member of the Federation of Russian Film Critics), Mr. Murat Yavan (producer and international distributor of Turkish cinema), and Mr. Asef Rustamov (filmmaker and member of the European Filmmakers Association)
Next, the head of the jury, Sajjad Asghari , introduced the best foreign language film in each section

۶٫ ۱۲٫۱۲: That Day directed by Kim Seong-soo from South Korea
۷٫ The Missing Ladies directed by Kiran Rao from India

۲٫ “The Sinking of Lisbon” directed by Fang Li from China
۳٫ “Gingerbread for My Father” directed by Alina Mustafina from Kazakhstan

Asghari added: Also in the short film section, out of three candidates:

۲٫ “Sour Candy” directed by Nishi Dugar from India
۳٫ “Dawn” directed by Ana Yarges from Spain,
