Chloë Zhao Cheney won the award for best director and Frances McDormand won the award for best actress for her performance in Zhao’s film Land of Showers. Anthony Hopkins was also chosen as the best actor for his eye-catching performance in the movie Father

But in the supporting actor category, Daniel Kaluuya won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the drama movie “Judas and the Black Messiah” and Yoon Yoo Jung won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the best-selling Korean movie Minari

The comedy-drama film “Another Round” produced by Denmark, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, was also announced as the best non-English language film
